Terms of Service

By accessing or using MahanX services, including Krato Bot ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use our Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. The Service is intended solely for use by merchants who operate Shopify stores in India or internationally.

MahanX provides an AI-powered chatbot platform ("Krato Bot") for Shopify merchants. The Service includes:

• An AI chatbot that can answer customer queries, recommend products, and recover abandoned carts
• Multi-language support (Hindi, Hinglish, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, and international languages)
• Analytics dashboard showing conversations, revenue attribution, and customer insights
• Integration tools for connecting Krato Bot with Shopify, WhatsApp, and other platforms
• A merchant dashboard for configuration and monitoring

The Service is provided on a subscription basis with a free trial period as described on our pricing page.

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at hello@mahanx.in

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our sole discretion.

By connecting Krato Bot to your Shopify store, you grant MahanX permission to:

• Read your product catalogue, collections, and inventory
• Access customer data necessary to power the chatbot (with your customers' consent)
• Read and write to specific Shopify APIs required for cart recovery features
• Access order information for order tracking functionality

You remain responsible for complying with Shopify's Partner Program Agreement and ensuring your use of Krato Bot complies with applicable laws, including data protection laws.

Free Trial: New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start.

Subscription: After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription. Pricing is available on our pricing page at mahanx.in/pricing.

Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually (at your choice) in advance. Payments are processed securely via Razorpay.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.

Refund Policy: If you experience a significant service failure caused by MahanX within the first 30 days of a paid subscription, contact us for a full refund consideration.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Send spam or unsolicited messages to customers
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Transmit any material that is defamatory, offensive, or harmful
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its related systems
• Use the Service to build a competing product
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MahanX Technologies and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of all content you upload or provide to the Service (product data, FAQs, brand assets). By uploading content, you grant MahanX a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

"MahanX," "Krato Bot," and associated logos are trademarks of MahanX Technologies. You may not use these trademarks without prior written permission.

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

As a merchant, you are the data controller for your customers' personal data. MahanX acts as a data processor. You are responsible for:

• Having a lawful basis for processing customer data
• Providing appropriate privacy notices to your customers
• Ensuring Krato Bot's data usage is disclosed in your store's privacy policy

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

MahanX does not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected

We do not guarantee specific revenue outcomes, conversion rates, or business results from using Krato Bot.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MahanX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

In no event shall MahanX's total liability exceed the amount you paid to MahanX in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
• We will retain your data for 30 days, after which it will be deleted
• You may export your data within 30 days of termination by contacting us

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

For any disputes, we encourage you to first contact us at hello@mahanx.in — most issues can be resolved quickly and amicably.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or a prominent notice on our platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
